I believe this is an Avry Island Swamp Rabbit. NWF notes the swamp rabbit is the largest member of the cottontail genus, and they are adept swimmers.. Newborns' eyes open after four to seven days. Young leave the nest after about two weeks. Swamp rabbits reach sexual maturity after 23 weeks. Predators of swamp rabbits include the American alligator, raptors, bobcats, gray foxes, coyotes, snakes, dogs, and humans.

These Black-bellied Whistling-ducks flew over Bird City. Their call really is a whistle. While they look most like ducks, but they are more like geese and swans in that they pair for life and males and females look alike.
